Contest Rules

Eligibility. The 2024 Members Only Opportunity to Win Tickets to Super Bowl LIX Contest (the “Contest”) is open to Ontario residents who, as of the date of entry, are 21 years of age or older and are existing members of ClubLink. Employees, representatives, and agents of ClubLink, Carlsberg Brewing Company Limited (“Carlsberg”), contest judges and persons domiciled with any of the foregoing are not eligible.
Contest Period. The Contest starts on September 23, 2024 at 9:01 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends on October 31, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. ET (the “Contest Period”). The winner will be notified no later than November 15, 2024.
How to Enter. No purchase is required. There are two ways to enter this Contest, as described below:
- Automatic Entry– Purchase any of the following Carlsberg products, charged to a ClubLink Member account, at a ClubLink location in Ontario (London, Toronto (GTA), Muskoka or Ottawa) during the Contest Period. For each Carlsberg product purchased during the Contest Period, an entrant will automatically receive one (1) entry into the prize draw (Limit one per person per day) Purchase methods include ClubLink Member account. Eligible products are: Carlsberg, Waterloo Radler, Somersby Cider, or Landshark Lager. Receive two additional entries for each Member Guest fee charged to your Member account.
- No Purchase Entry– No Purchase Entry – Send an email to mwitten@clublink.ca including your full name, address, phone number using the subject “Carlsberg 2024”. One entry is permitted per email address. Make sure to review the contest rules for any additional requirements. Each submission will be counted as one (1) entry into the prize draw, limit one (1) entry using this method per email address.
All entries must be received and recorded within the Contest Period. ClubLink’s computer is the official timekeeping device for this Contest.
Prize. There is one (1) grand prize available to be won, consisting of: 2 Tickets to to Super Bowl LIX.
The maximum retail value of the Grand Prize is Cdn $20,000.00. Any difference between the actual and maximum value of the Grand Prize will not be awarded.
Notification
Potential prize winners will be contacted by email or telephone within seven (7) business days of the applicable draw date. If a potential winner cannot be reached within seven (7) business days of the draw date, if any notification is returned as undeliverable, or the potential winner does not otherwise comply with these Contest Rules, the potential winner will be disqualified and another entrant will be randomly selected in accordance with the foregoing process until such time as contact is made, or until there are no more eligible entries, whichever comes first. To be declared a winner, the potential winner must first answer correctly, without assistance of any kind, whether mechanical or otherwise, a mathematical skill testing question.
Each potential winner may also be required to sign a release form (including a publicity release) (“Release”) confirming compliance with these Contest Rules, acceptance of the prize as awarded, without substitution, and releasing ClubLink and Carlsberg and/or their affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, and advertising and promotion agencies and all of their respective agents, employees, directors, officers, shareholders, successors and assigns (collectively the “Releases”) from any liability in connection participation in the Contest or the awarding or use of the prize. The Release must be returned within the time period specified on the Release or the prize will be forfeited. The prize will be delivered to a confirmed winner.
General
This Contest is subject to all relevant laws.
All entries are subject to verification by ClubLink and ClubLink reserves the right to cancel and revoke any entries if they are found to be improper, fraudulent, forged, incomplete or tampered with or if the entrant is subsequently found to be ineligible pursuant to the Contest Rules. Any attempt to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, ClubLink reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.
By entering this Contest, each entrant agrees to comply with these Contest Rules and acknowledges and agrees that the Releasees: (i) shall have no liability of any kind whatsoever with respect to this Contest, the entrant’s participation therein, and/or the awarding, use, misuse or participation in the prize; (ii) make no guarantee or representation of any kind concerning the prize; (iii) disclaim any implied warranty or condition concerning any prize; (iv) are not liable for injury, loss or damage of any kind resulting from the entrant’s acceptance, use, misuse or participation in the prize or otherwise from such entrant’s participation in this Contest, including any injury or damage which may be caused directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entering. The Releasees are not responsible for typographical or other errors in the offer or administration of this Contest, including but not limited to errors in advertising, the Contest Rules, the selection or announcement of a winner or the distribution of the prize.
No responsibility will be taken for lost, stolen, misdirected, delayed, destroyed, postage due or illegible entries. All entries become the property of ClubLink and will not be returned. No correspondence will be entered into with entrants, except as provided in these Contest Rules. ClubLink is not responsible for administrative, technical, hardware, and software or telephone failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incomplete, garbled or deleted computer or network transmissions which may limit the ability to play or participate in the Contest. ClubLink is not responsible for any liability for injury or damage which may be caused directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from participating in the Contest.
Prize must be accepted as awarded and cannot be substituted, transferred, exchanged or surrendered for cash, except at the sole and absolute discretion of ClubLink, which reserves the right for any reason to award or substitute all or part of a prize for another prize of equivalent value, including without limitation, a cash award. Winner is responsible for all costs and expenses not specifically listed as included in the prize. Prize may not be exactly as shown or listed. Proof of submitting an entry is not proof of receipt.
ClubLink reserves the right, at its sole discretion and at any time without prior notice, to rescind, modify, suspend or terminate all or part of the Contest at any time, including in the event of any incident that could corrupt or affect the administration, security, impartiality or normal flow of this Contest. Entries are subject to verification and will be declared invalid if forged, falsified, altered or tampered with in any way or otherwise not in compliance with these Contest Rules.
The decisions of ClubLink will be final and binding on all entrants in respect of this Contest. Carlsberg’s participation in this Contest is limited to that of a prize sponsor only, and Carlsberg shall not be responsible for any participant complaint or other matters in any way relating to the Contest.
By accepting a prize, winner agrees that ClubLink may use the winner’s name and/or photograph, without compensation, in any advertising or publicity.
Personal information provided by entrants will be used for the purposes of administering the Contest, contacting potential winners, and otherwise in accordance with ClubLink’s privacy policy at https://clublink.ca/privacy-policy/. If entrants consent, Personal information will also be used by ClubLink to send entrants information, offers and invitations to events. Entrants can unsubscribe from these communications at any time by contacting ClubLink at 1-800-661-1818 or by using the unsubscribe feature in such communications.
